At c55 Creative, we had the honour of collaborating with Niah Juella Mcleod, an incredible artist whose work is as rich in story as it is in spirit. As the daughter of the late Bobby Mcleod—a respected Yuin Elder, Aboriginal activist, poet, healer, and musician—Niah carries forward a powerful legacy through her art. Her pieces are deeply rooted in the stories passed down through generations, each one honouring her cultural heritage and connection to Country.
But Niah’s work is not only shaped by where she comes from—it’s also informed by where she is now. As a mother of two, she draws profound inspiration from motherhood and her relationship with the natural world. The cycles of life, the rhythms of nature, and the sacredness of family all echo through her practice, creating works that feel both timeless and intimately personal.
Our role was to help bring Niah Juella, her story to life through a brand and website that feels as grounded, graceful, and authentic as her art. We worked closely with her to ensure the digital space honoured her voice and creative process—celebrating both the strength of her lineage and the tenderness of her everyday world.
